Asian Association of Cosmetologists, Trichologists and Aestheticians (AACTA) is an independent and recognized voice of Cosmetology, Trichology and Aesthetics professionals across Asia. We are committed to improving overall quality of aesthetic medicine treatments by promoting advanced, science-based approach that puts the patient at the centre through our initiatives in education, research and development of high standards for aesthetic medicine care.

The association endeavors to meet and exceed public expectations. We acknowledge that currently most aesthetic medicine clinics are not delivering optimal services and results to their patients due to lack of knowledge, absence of standardized protocols and unavailability of trained manpower. We intend to work on all these parameters..

We also aim to represent the aesthetic medicine profession and support members in the provision of comprehensive and quality care of their clientele.

Coordinating and assisting scientific and research- related activities among all sectors of the aesthetic medicine professional’s community.

Training

Promoting the timely transfer of knowledge gained from research to improve public health by educating aesthetic medicine professionals and policy-makers.

Awareness

Generate awareness among clients about aesthetic medicine procedures by dissemination of high quality and accurate information.

Medical Education

Conducting Continuing Medical Education (CME) and professional development programmes to ensure an adequate number of talented, skilled aesthetic medicine professionals.

Legal Guidance

Provide legal guidance and support to members by providing accurate information and assistance whenever needed.

Central Council

The Central Council is the backbone of the association. Central Council comprises of eminent, prominent and active members. Central Council is the overall Administrative Controller and the final decision-making authority. It directs and regulates overall affairs of the association and formulates rules & regulations, functional guidelines etc.

Council Structure

The AACTA has adopted a federal structure for attainment and furtherance of association’s objectives, while fostering democratic organizational setup. The association is governed by its constitution, by-laws and rules & regulations and guidelines. The associations general structure is as under;

Governance Structure

Central Council, National Executive Council, Local Executive Council

Central Council (Asia Governing Council)

The Central Council shall be the Asia level governing body of the association having its jurisdiction within entire Asia. The Central Council shall control & regulate the management and general affair of the association. The Central Council shall oversee all National Branches, Local Branches and Membership of AACTA.

National Branches (National Governing Council)

The National Branch is that branch of the association which has its jurisdiction within the country and shall cover all members of the country. It shall be made up of various local branches within the same territory and shall have its office headquarters within the same country where the Hon. National Secretary resides/practices. Every national branch will act as the co-ordinating link between the HO and local branches. It will oversee the functions and activities of its local branches. The national branch shall function under the auspices of the HO and abide by the rules and regulations of the HO who may de-recognize it for breach of rule or condition of the bye-laws.

Local Branches (Local Governing Council)

The Local Branch is that branch of AACTA, which is demographically located within the boundaries of a town, city, district, or state.
